　Simply put³, Skype is an application that turns your pc into a telephone⁴, letting you talk over the Internet for free. Many businesses⁵ today use the iPad and Skype to meet or work with people around the world. Fantastic isn’t it?

　Now, let’s make sure we know a shortened form of the word ‘application’ which is ‘app’ or ‘apps’ in the plural⁶.
