　We got the good news two Saturdays ago. Mt. Fuji was given World Heritage¹ status at a UNESCO meeting in Cambodia. It’s finally made it to² the list.

　If you’re an English learner, you may want to check how the news has been reported in English. And if you actually do so, make sure to choose reliable³ sources⁴. I read, for example, some articles from BBC, NBC and FOX News. And there are some points of focus from a learning perspective⁵. For example, you want to see what verbs are used to describe the event. Photographs may appear with brief explanations. Then you can learn how to write a caption for a picture.
