I was walking down the street in the neighborhood. There were two girls walking just in front of me. One of the girls was wearing a tee shirt with a phrase printed on the back saying “We are on the same page!”.

Are you familiar with the phrase?

If you and I are on the same page, we have the same understanding of a topic; we are in agreement; or we think in the same way.

When you are in a business meeting, for example, you need to make sure everyone in the room is talking about the same thing, having the same understanding about what is being discussed. In other words, you need to make sure everyone in the room is on the same page. It’s important to get everyone on the same page, especially when signing.
